I bought a Chuckit! thrower recently, and was disappointed that it came with a regular fuzzy ball instead of the rubber kind. These balls are so much nicer than a regular tennis ball – they have some bounce to them, but aren’t hard, they stand up to my dog chewing on them, and they are easy to clean when they get muddy and slobbery – I just rinse them off. The orange color makes them easy to see, and having two means I can throw another one when my dog gets distracted, or just keep one in the house and one for outside. Two for ~5 bucks seemed like a reasonable price.

I have the original orange ones that have lasted months. These squeakers were loud and worked great for about a week before my lab broke them. They also got puncture holes from normal play, while the orange ones never have. I assume the squeaker affects durability, but was a shame to see them go so quick. Great toy while they lasted. A little expensive for the short time. Want to buy again but might go a size up to hopefully get more durability. These are slightly smaller than a tennis ball.
